Vintage 19th Century Louis XV Majolica Asparagus Plate & Platter

Description

A French majolica asparagus plate collection by the famous French pottery factory, Orchies, this design features  Louis XV details. The plate has three separate compartment: the middle compartment is for asparagus, a small section for an accompanying sauce, and the third compartment was commonly used for ham. The platter would have been used to display the ham.
