Vintage 1870s Native American Red Pom Pom Snowshoes

Description

A pair of 19th century snowshoes used by Native Americans for hunting. Traditionally, the pom poms were made from the fur of the animal being hunted and were placed on the snowshoes as a spiritual guide and out of respect for the animal.
